Rick Allen music & events
Rick Allen started in the music business in 1972 after attending the Royal college of Music, London, studying Saxohone, Flute and Piano in both Classical, Jazz and Contemparary Pop music. On leaving college Rick had the opportunity to work with Elton John and this opened up the doors to many areas in both television and radio working as a session musician. Rick has toured extensively throughout Europe with various bands playing all types of music, for example: pop, country, rock n roll, jazz and motown. His experience over the years has lead him to work with the likes of Tommy Cooper, Bruce Forsyth, Des O'Conner etc and working alongside many of the 60's and 70's bands, The Searchers, Sweet, Swinging Blue Jeans, Troggs and so on.
Rick is also a trained Radio and TV presenter working for the BBC and independent stations. He has a Teaching Degree and has been Head of Music at schools and colleges in both the UK and Spain.
His latest venture has moved him to the Alicante region of Spain where he is now living and working on a solo career playing all the saxophones, Tenor, Alto, Soprano, Baritone including a number of Flutes. A new CD is currently in production and will be available soon. His music style caters for all ages and adapts itself to all types of events. Rick also has a tribute show to the American instrumental saxophonist, Kenny G.
Alongside this he has a Music Events business for both local and international artistes, to produce concerts from Classical to Pop.

Rick Allen empezó en el negocio de la música en el año 1972.
Después de atender el Instituto Real de la Música,Londres, estudiando saxofón, flauta y piano en música clásica, jazz y pop contemporáneo. Al dejar el instituto Rick tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar con Elton John y esto le abrió las puertas a muchas áreas en televisión y radio; trabajando como músico de sesión.
Ha hecho giras extensamente por toda Europa con varias bandas tocando todo tipo de música.Por ejemplo: pop, country,rock'n roll, jazz y música "soul". Su experiencia músical le ha llevado a trabajar con muchos artistas famosos y bandas también muy conocidas.I
Rick está también entrenado como presentador de televisión y radio, trabajando para el BBC( Corporación de Difusión por radio y televisión Británica).
Él tiene un título universitario en enseñanza y ha sido director de música en escuelas, e institutos(tanto de educación secundaria como bachillerato) de Inglaterra y de España.
Sus últimos planes lo han traido a la región de Alicante en España; donde está ahora viviendo y trabajando en una carrera como solista tocando todos los saxofonos: tenor, alto, soprano, barítono.Incluyendo un número de flautas. Tiene un nuevo CD en venta. Su estilo musical vale para todas las edades y se adapta a todo tipo de eventos. Rick también tiene un espectáculo como homenaje al saxofonista instrumental americano, Kenny G.
