Biography
I started playing music at school, initially on the Clarinet, but graduated to the Tenor Saxophone when I was offered a position in the school Jazz Big Band. On leaving school I attended the Royal College of Music, London, studying Saxophone, Flute and Piano in Classical, Jazz and Contemporary Pop music.
When I left college I had the opportunity to work with Elton John and this opened up the doors to many areas in both television and radio working as a session musician. I toured the UK and Europe extensively with various bands playing all types of music, Jazz, Pop, County, Rock n Roll, Soul and Motown.
I am a trained Radio and TV presenter who has
worked for the BBC and independent stations.
I have a Teaching Degree and have been Head of
Music at schools and colleges in both the UK,
Spainand Norway.
I have recently completed an original instrumental
CD with a music colleague Rudi Fabeck at our
music studio Beck & Allen in Spain.
